Not My Job

not my job, poetry, poem, prose, books, steven humphreys

It’s not my job

to tell anyone

what kind of person

they should be

It’s not up to me

to solve

what my job is…

Writing this

as I drink more fizz

Keep my head

in the clouds

Feeling Good

Feet on the ground

solidarity in what

I’ve found

My heart in

everything I do

Hurting no one

On a Saturday night

in lieu
