Tumbler

It’s a plastic key

which turns that

tumbler in the

metal lock

break it off

play it safe

take the word

love evolves in its own

timeline with a shifting

elusive everchanging

understanding from

youthful love

to enduring love

love, long seasons of

drought

long seasons of change

grows wings flies away

comes back to roost

love flies

from your eyes

the love that turns into

addiction is not love

love has no need

like a beautiful

flower

gives

freely

of

its

own

beauty.
