those wonderful days of confusion poem by steven james humphreys
Nostalgia

those wonderful days of confusion

Oh, those wonderful days of confusion

drunk

lost

not knowing me

smothered in sugar

spice

fire and ice

living inside a realm of lies

I kept coming up missing

pouring another glass of wine

it drowned out the noises of the world

I had an excuse back then

I could say I didn’t know life

I was young and didn’t understand

that later I’d become an old man

those were my best of times

music from my time sings of

those wonderful days of confusion.
